Research Interests

I just completed my PhD thesis entitled: Predicting and manipulating the difficulty of text completion exercises for language learning. It was supervised by Iryna Gurevych, Torsten Zesch, and Detmar Meurers.

The dissertation research is related to the following topics:
educational natural language processing
exercise generation
readability assessment
multilingual + language-independent approaches
machine learning
psycholinguistics/cognitive foundations of language
