OmegaWiki is a multilingual, web-based, freely available dictionary, Lately, it has been recognized as a promising lexical semantic resource for natural language processing applications, especially for crosslingual settings.
JOWKL (Java OmegaWiki Library) is an open-source, Java-based application programming interface that allows to access all information contained in OmegaWiki, such as glosses, usage examples, translations and much more.
JOWKL directly works on the OmegaWiki database dumps available at http://www.omegawiki.org/Help:Downloading_the_data. No additional preprocessing is necessary!
