UKP researchers participate in several academic networks of excellence. Please follow the links below for detailed information.

Academic Network of Internet Lexicography

The  Academic Network of Internet Lexicography is funded by the  German Research Foundation (DFG).

The participating researchers and lexicographers discuss scientific questions on monolingual and multilingual online dictionaries including the lexicographic process, the writing of the dictionary entries, matters of the technical infrastructure and the graphical representation, as well as the collaboration of authors and dictionary users.

UKP Lab is represented in the network by Christian M. Meyer.

Academic Network of Empirical Research on Internet-based Communication

The  Academic Network of  Empirical Research on Internet-based Communication is funded by the  German Research Foundation (DFG).

The network aims at combining the competences from German Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Computer Science and Psychology in order to conduct research about Internet-based communication like chat, discussion forums, or Twitter.

UKP Lab is represented in the network by Torsten Zesch.

Software Campus

 Software Campus is funded by Germany's  Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF).

In close collaboration with strong partners from industry and research, Software Campus participants develop innovative academic IT projects and benefit from an individually tailored training curriculum with outstanding academics and managers. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) provides funding of up to EUR 100,000 for each IT project.
