  • From 2011 to 2013, I was a member of the board of directors of the LOEWE Research Area "Digital Humanities"
  • I am the coordinator of all teaching activities at UKP

Degrees and Awards

  • On 15 July 2014, I have successfully defended my doctoral dissertation at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.
  • I also hold an M.A. in English Linguistics and a teaching degree for secondary (college-preparatory) schools (i.e. first state examination) in Computer Science and English from the Julius-Maximilians-University of Wuerzburg, Germany.  
  • In January 2011, I received a three-year PhD scholarship from the state of Hesse within the research excellence program LOEWE
  • In October 2013, I received a travel grant for early career researchers from the Volkswagen Foundation.
