Invited Talk by Torsten Zesch at the FLaReNet Forum 2010
Torsten Zesch is an invited speaker at the FLaReNet Forum 2010 in the session "Social Networking and Web 2.0 Methods for Language Resources", which will take place in Barcelona on 11-12 February 2010. The title of this invited talk is ‘What's the difference? - Comparing Expert-Built and Collaboratively-Built Lexical Semantic Resources’.
FLaReNet (Fostering Language Resources Network) is an eContentPlus project funded by the European Commission which officially started on 1st September 2008. This Network is intended to promote the consolidation of a European strategy in the field of Language Resources (LR) and Language Technologies and to be a European forum to facilitate interaction among LR stakeholders.
The FLaReNet event is a collaborative forum composed of a series of working sessions on specific topics. Its aim is to raise discussion in a very interactive way, thus creating a breeding ground for open questions, new ideas and visions for the field towards a multilingual digital Europe.
