You can plan your route with Google Maps (English) or Google Maps (German) (in these links the end location is already marked). Depending on your route, you will either head towards Kantplatz (via Schloßgartenstraße), or drive through Kantplatz to Schloßgartenstraße.
In Schloßgartenstraße look for the university building S2|13 which is labeled with a "DKI" sign. In front of it is a barrier. If the gate does not open automatically, ring the bell. Drive straight through the archway (between S2|04 and S2|05) to the front of the Robert Piloty Building S2|02, where you will find free parking. Use the main entrance of the great staircase und follow the signs inside the building.
From either airport terminal, take the Airliner shuttle bus, which goes directly to Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). From there you can continue your journey with local transport (see below), for which your Airliner ticket is still valid. Please refer to the
Airliner brochure for maps, fares, and timetables.
From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), you can take any of the following routes and get off at the stop Willy-Brandt-Platz:
Next to Willy-Brandt-Platz is a large park – the Herrngarten. If you walk straight through the garden, you will arrive directly at the Robert Piloty building (S2|02).
For other origins, please use the
RMV route planner and specify "Darmstadt Willy-Brandt-Platz" or "Darmstadt Hochschulstraße 10" as the destination.
We wish you a safe and pleasant trip to Darmstadt. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
